Diane Marie (Sager) Cunningham, age 72, passed away in Gettysburg on July 20, 2025 after a short battle with cancer. She was the loving wife of the late Jeffrey P. Cunningham; together, they shared over 36 years of marriage.

Diane was born on December 29, 1952 in Hanover, PA and was the daughter of the late Charles H. and Carrie J. (Warner) Sager. She graduated from Littlestown High School Class of 1970. Diane went on to work for Hanover Industries, later Pillowtex Corp, Wal-Mart, and most recently as a pharmacy assistant at Weis Market. Diane enjoyed NASCAR, horse racing, trips to the casino, weekly brunch meetups and card nights with her siblings, cousins, and friends; and spending time with her children and grandkids.

Diane is survived by her sons Jeromy J. Sager (wife Candie) and Troy A. Renoll (wife Nadia); her grandchildren Shannon Sager and Kai Renoll; brother Tom Sager (wife Carolyn), sisters Jeannie Berna, Janet Sheely (husband Steve), Joanne Hare (husband Russell), and Linda Brown (husband Gary), and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Gary Sager, Jim Sager, Charles "Bud" Sager (surviving wife Shirley), and sister Rosalie Henry (husband Ralph).

A joint celebration of Jeff's and Diane's lives will be held at Murphy-Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., 501 Ridge Ave., McSherrystown, PA 17344 on Sunday, July 27, 2025 at 4:00PM. The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday from 3:30PM – 4:00PM prior to the service at the funeral home.

Jefrey P. Cunningham, age 71, passed away at Hanover Hospital on November 28, 2020. Diane Marie (Sager) Cunningham, age 72, passed away in Gettysburg on July 20, 2025 after a short battle with cancer. Together, they shared over 36 years of marriage.

Jeffrey was born on June 1, 1949 in Hanover, and was the son of the late Rudy P. and Francine M. (Bunty) Cunningham. He graduated from Delone Catholic High School Class of 1967 and went on to work for Harley Davidson before retiring. He was a member of the McSherrystown Home Association and the New Oxford Social Club. Jeffrey enjoyed NASCAR, horse racing, and football, especially the Philadelphia Eagles.
