Diane A. Devino
Diane A. Devino, 79, of Prospect, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 18, 2024 at the Civita Care Center in Cheshire surrounded by her loving family.
Diane was born in Waterbury, CT on October 23, 1945, daughter of the late Rocco and Lena (Petruccelli) Devino. She was a graduate of Croft High School and also earned her Master's Degree in Special Education from Central Connecticut State University. Before her retirement, Diane worked as a special education teacher for the City of Waterbury School System for over 35 years. She was a landlord for two apartment buildings in Waterbury and one in Naugatuck, where she leaves many grateful tenants.
Diane leaves behind to cherish her memory three aunts, Henrietta Petruccelli of Prospect, CT, Clare Brancato of Waterbury, CT, Ann Lamattino of Waterbury, CT and many cousins including, Lynette Borkowski, Debra Rainone and Sharon Valentino.
Arrangements: A prayer service will be held on Friday, November 22, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, CT. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. A calling hour will be held on Friday morning from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
