Diane Katherine Gazzola, 76, of St. Petersburg sadly passed away on December 4, 2023. Born on December 29, 1946 in the Bronx to her parents Joe and Helen Blute, Diane was known for be strong-spirited, fierce, independent, and a fighter. She was the best mother to her children and the absolute best wife to her husband, who was the love of her life.
Diane is preceded in death by her parents, and her son Glenn Gazzola. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Richard Gazzola Sr., her son Richard "Rick" (Caroline) Gazzola Jr., daughters Danielle Gazzola and Jeannine Gazzola, grandchildren Tyler Greenburg, Katelyn Gazzolla, Ashley Lovelock, James Lovelock, Myrissa McCall, Christopher McCall, Candice Kelly, Glenn Gazzola, and Amber Lynn McClendon; great grandchildren Ava Gazzola, Aiden Gomes, Cameron Jarrett, Abalynn Jarrett, and William Stanton; her brothers Dennis Blute, Michael Blute, Joseph Blute, and John Scott Blute; as well as many extended relatives in New Jersey and Long Island, New York.
Diane will be dearly missed and always remembered by her family and friends, who love her immensely, but they find solace in the fact that she is now at peace and has reunited with her son, Glenn.
A memorial gathering will take place at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Saturday, December 16th from 1:00 pm to 2:00, with a service in the chapel following immediately.
