A “Celebration of Life” Service for Diane Lanford, 74, will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana.
Diane was born on February 20, 1949 to Morris and Juanita Lang in DeKalb, Mississippi and passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2024 in Shreveport.
Diane graduated from Greenwood High School in 1967. She loved taking care of her children, grandchildren, and cooking for them. Diane also loved doing yard work and planting flowers. She was an avid bowler for many years, a prolific reader, and a First Responder at Frymaster. She loved her Silver Sneakers program and working out with them. She loved playing horseshoes and poker with her family and friends.
Diane is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Linda Kaye Hart, and Jan Moffett; brother, David Lang; son, William Jesse Bracken III; and grandson, Kevin Michael Collins II. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Eva Michelle Bracken Naquin and Angela Gentry Mains, both from Diamondhead, Mississippi; Felisha Joyce Callen, from Shreveport, Louisiana; and sister, Patricia Faye Vance (Ronnie) of Grenada, Mississippi; granddaughters, Erin Lang Land (Brandon) from Tulsa, Oklahoma and Eva Caroline Callen from Shreveport, Louisiana; and great-grandchildren, Kade Michael Land and Sadie Blair Land.
