Diane Mary LaMacchia Masiello, Age, 81 of Trophy Club, Texas and Staten Island New York, passed away on August 26 th 2025 surrounded by loving family.
Diane was born June 6 th 1944 in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of Vincent and Mary LaMacchia
Diane graduated from Erasmus Hall High School in 1962, then went on to work at an advertising agency for several years in Manhattan.
Diane married the late Peter Masiello in September of 1983 on Staten Island. Diane and Peter were married for 35 wonderful years until Peter, a retired FDNY Firefighter, passed in 2021. She is survived by her son Anthony Cafaro, Jr, his wife Yvette and their three children Olivia, Toni and Rocco; also by her stepdaughter Terri Liberto and her children Alexandra and Emma and her nephew James Mullins, his wife Dana and their two children Emily and Anthony. Diane especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Diane was an amazing cook; her specialties were lasagna and stuffed artichokes.
We invite all family and friends to a Mass on Friday, August 29 at 11:00am at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Grapevine.
