Diane M. Melber, 74, of Myrtle Beach passed away peacefully at Home on Friday, June 27, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.
Born on July 12th 1950 in Cohoes, NY, she was the beloved daughter of the late Henry and Annette Boyus. Diane was a retired Registered Nurse, a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who enjoyed interior decorating, gardening, cooking,baking and spending time with her family. Diane also was a devoted caregiver to her dear friend Ellen for many years.
As a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Diane will be profoundly missed.
In addition to her parents, Diane was preceded in death by her cherished son, Chad W. Melber, and her brother-in-law, Daniel G. Birch.
She is survived by her son, George (Marsha) Melber of Conway, SC; her daughter, Daria (David) Jones of Clayton, NC; and her daughter-in-law, Samantha Melber of Clayton, NC.
Diane leaves behind her adoring grandchildren who were her pride and joy: Katelyn(Josh), Dylan, Ariel, Brandon, Bree'Anna, Charity, Savanna, Myrisa, Zoiey, and Paytyn, as well as her great-granddaughter, Macie Brooks Bunn. She is also survived by her sisters, Joan (Dennis) Vaughan of Bradenton, FL, and Yvonne Birch of Crystal River, FL, along with her niece Tracy(Mark) and nephews, Richard Hasbrouck and Jonathan(Louisa) Vaughan.
The family wishes to express the deepest gratitude to her devoted niece Tracy for her loving care and compassion shown to Diane during her final Journey.
Funeral services will be held privately on a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
