Diane Marie Skaar

Diane Marie Skaar, a dedicated Accountant at Jerry Brick Accounting in Wantagh, has peacefully passed away on April 23,2024. She was born on October 29, 1958, in Islip, New York. Diane pursued her education and earned a Bachelor's Degree, showcasing her commitment to learning and personal growth.

Throughout her life, Diane cultivated a love for the outdoors, finding solace in hiking and being surrounded by the beauty of nature. Her fondness for Ireland held a special place in her heart, reflecting her appreciation for different cultures and landscapes. Even though Diane worked for corporate America, her soul belonged to nature.

In the hearts of Diane's surviving family and friends, she leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She is survived by her beloved Fiancé Micah, October 30th would have marked 9 years that they have been together. She is also survived by her loving son Michael (his wife Cheryl) Skaar, as well as her brothers James Koehler and Donald Koehler. Her mother Marilyn mourns the loss of a dear daughter, while memories of Diane will be held dear by all who knew her. Diane is predeceased by her sister, The Late Jeanne and her father, The Late Donald. 

In remembrance of Diane's life and the profound impact she had on those around her, visitation services will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Mangano Family Funeral Home in Deer Park, NY. A word's of remembrance ceremony will follow at 7:00 PM at the same location to honor Diane's vibrant spirit and lasting contributions.

Although she is no longer physically present with us, Diane Marie Skaar's warmth, kindness, and compassion will forever resonate with those who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in eternal peace.
