In 2001, she retired from a fulfilling career in the medical field, having served under Dr. R.L. McManaman. Her commitment to her work and the care she provided left a lasting impact on many.
On October 13, 1962, Diana married her husband, John, in Windsor, beginning a journey of love and companionship that would last a lifetime. Together, they built a nurturing home that reflected Diana's values and passions. Throughout her life, she enjoyed crocheting, reading, and dedicating her time to various volunteer efforts, embodying a joyful spirit that resonated with all who knew her.
Diana was not only a devoted wife and mother but also a caring sister and friend. She is survived by her son, James K. Tempelfeld, and her siblings—George Margheim, Robert Margheim, Daniel Margheim, Gloria Koch, and Gordan Margheim. Together, they will carry forward the memories and love she shared so freely.
She now joins her beloved family who have preceded her in death: sisters Mary Ruth Bopp and Leona Walter; brothers Edward Margheim and Paul Marcheim; as well as her mother, Marie Margheim, and father, George Margheim.
The community is invited to celebrate Diana’s life at a memorial service on November 1, 2025, at 10:30 AM, held at Bethel Lutheran Church, located at 328 Walnut St, Windsor, Colorado, with services concluding at 11:45 AM.
