Diane Trevathan entered her heavenly home on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital at the age of 82.
She was born in McKenzie, TN on October 14, 1939, the daughter of the late Walter E. and Barbara Louise Gallimore Trevathan. Diane took great pleasure in watching the birds she especially loved Bluebirds, feeding the Hummingbirds and growing flowers. Her family was her passion, especially her grandsons. She attended the former Lambuth College and was a member of Northside Church of Jackson, TN. Diane was retired from the Internal Revenue Service as a Customer Service Representative.
She is survived by her daughter, Diedra Lynn Michael and husband Barry of Jackson, TN; a brother, Kenneth "Skip" Trevathan and wife Peggy of Germantown, TN; four grandsons, Josh Michael and wife Eva of Jackson, TN; Christopher Michael and wife Courtney of Tupelo, MS; Jonathan Michael and wife Sydney of Henderson, TN; Matthew Michael of Jackson, TN; a sister-in-law Joyce Trevathan of Franklin, TN; and seven nieces and nephews, Leigh Ann Jones and husband Todd, Walt Trevathan and wife Alicia, Stephanie Bailey and husband Jeff, Ashley Trevathan, Kenneth "Bo" Trevathan, Terry "Sonny" Flatt II and wife Christy and Cecile Shoffner.
She was preceded in death by a brother Walter "Butch" Trevathan and a sister Pamela Flatt.
SERVICES: A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, July 15, 2022, at Ridgecrest Cemetery with Rev. Gerry Campbell officiating.
Pallbearers will be Josh Michael, Christopher Michael, Jonathan Michael, Matthew Michael, Barry Michael and Bo Trevathan.
