Diane Watson Obituary
Her family will always cherish her love and compassion for giving back and making everyone feel special. She created so many friendships and bonds that will be forever lasting in memory of her contagious smile and her laughter.
Alongside building friendships and family Diane was a huge steelers fan. She spread this joy with everyone whether it be huddling up and watching the games or dressing head to toe in steelers attire. Followed by one of her favorite music artist Elvis Presley and rocking out to Kiss.
Her family will fondly remember her for her contagious laugh, and always giving back to the community by always showing up when she is needed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Watson, Jr. and Geraldine Webb Watson, and her beloved brother, Walter Earl Watson.
Diane is survived by her sisters, Shirley Watson Hill and Brenda Watson Toler; and brother, Johnny Mack Watson. Followed by her beloved children, daughters, Ashley Cook, Jessica Hardin, and Victoria Rodriguez; and sons, Cody Cook, Eric Hogan, and De-jai Michaux. Loved by her granddaughters, Alicia Villatoro, Michelle Carter, and Dana Cook; grandson, Joshua Carter; and granddaughters, Lena Chavez, Haylei Carter, Trinity Carter, and Adrianna Hardin; grandson, Noah Rodriguez; and granddaughter, Ilah Hogan.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory, 211 W. 3rd Street, Wendell, NC 27591.
