Graveside services for Dianna Culver-Gepner, 77, of Knoxville, will be held Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. at the Bellefountaine Cemetery in Tracy. Following the service, a luncheon will be shared at the Tracy Fire Station.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Dianna's family to be designated at a later date.
Dianna was born on July 14, 1948, to Marvin "Gene" and Peggy Whitten-Culver in Oskaloosa, Iowa. Tracy, Iowa is where Dianna and her siblings grew up. She attended Tracy Elementary and Junior High at Twin Cedars. Then graduated from Albia High School, with the class of 1966.
On October 8, 1971, in Des Moines, Iowa, Dianna married Don Gepner, who was the love of her life. They spent 47 great years together until Don sadly passed away in 2019. The two made many memories together before his passing.
Don's job took them to several towns in Iowa before he was later transferred to Young America, Minnesota, where Dianna worked as an underwriter for an insurance company. They eventually moved back to Iowa and lived on their property outside of Tracy on the Des Moines River for many years. During that time Dianna worked at Smith's Furniture Store in Knoxville as their bookkeeper. Then Don received a job offer that moved them to Brooklyn, Iowa, and this was when Dianna started working for Roland & Dielman CPA'S in Grinnell. She retired on April 30, 2014.
The family first moved her to Homestead in Knoxville, but unfortunately, she was later transferred to hospice care at Westridge.
There are many things Dianna's family will remember her for. She was a true outdoors woman, she loved to garden, go camping, fishing, and four-wheeling. She was reserved and quiet, enjoyed reading, and watching sports (especially the Green Bay Packers and Hawkeyes), she never missed a game!
Dianna will be missed by her sisters, Judy DeJong and Regina (Mark) Bemisdarfer, her many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. She is preceded by her husband, Don Gepner and her brother, Lorentis Clyde Culver.
