Graveside services for Adam Storm, 49, of Lucas, will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Rose Hill Cemetery in Lucas. A visitation will be held prior to the to the graveside from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Chariton. Memorials may be made to the Southeast Warren Trap Team or the Lucas Fire Department. Adam Storm was born on March 12, 1976, to Mary Ann & Ken Storm in Corydon, Iowa. He grew up and lived in rural Lucas nearly his whole life, graduating from Chariton High School in 1993 and Indian Hills Community College in 1996.Some may have described Adam as an old soul. Growing up, he could often be found outside on the farm or helping Grandpa Virgil in the sawmill. In his adult life he enjoyed collecting guns. He was always very conscious about teaching his kids gun safety and how that was the most important when it came to firearms. It wasn't uncommon to hear the plinks of target practice on a nice afternoon. He looked forward to nice days of fishing with the kids and seeing the excitement in their eyes when they would catch a "big 'ole fish". Adam dabbled in hunting, woodworking, metal work, blacksmithing, steam engines, and countless other hobbies. He loved to read and learn about things, old and new and watching movies (quoting them endlessly). Adam sadly passed away on October 7, 2025, in Chariton, Iowa. Left to remember Adam is his wife, Kristie; his children: Abby, Trace, Molly, and Bethany; brother, Aaron (Christo) Storm; father, Ken (Robin) Storm; father and mother-in-law, Terry and Liz Davis; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dustin and Sarah Olsasky, Andy and Abby Ohnemus, Kate Davis; six nieces and one nephew. He is proceeded in death by his mother Mary Ann Pim, grandparents Ralph & Norma Pim & Virgil & Dorothy Storm. To send flowers to the family of Adam, please visit our floral store.
