Dianna June Harvey, born on December 14, 1954, in Wabash, Indiana, to Donald Maxwell and Anna Margaret (Bland) Harvey, passed away on November 13, 2025, while under hospice care at her sister's home in North Manchester. She is remembered not only for her vibrant spirit but also for her unwavering love for her family and friends.
Dianna's career included several years at Wabash Magnetics, where her dedication and commitment shone through. Despite a challenging start to her educational journey, she exemplified resilience by returning to school. In 1982, at the age of 28, Dianna graduated from high school, a testament to her determination and strong will.
An avid lover of the 1970s, Dianna embraced the era’s style and spirit, never truly leaving it behind. It was in this vibrant decade that her personality shone brightly. She had a profound love for all animals, especially her beloved dog, Butch, who was a constant companion and source of joy in her life.
Dianna was known for her adventurous spirit, enjoying activities such as horseback riding in her youth and playing pool, where her competitive nature often surfaced. She also had a flair for collecting memorabilia, with Elvis and Mickey Mouse items holding special places in her heart. An aficionado of good cuisine, Dianna always relished the experience of enjoying a delightful Asian meal, which she loved to share with friends and family. Her sense of humor and loyalty made her a beloved friend and family member.
The loving memory of Dianna June Harvey will be forever cherished by her sisters, Delane (Douglas) Chase Sorg, North Manchester and Denice (Ronald) Buuck, Columbus, Ohio; brothers, Darrin Harvey, Wabash, Douglas (Janet) Harvey, Laketon, and Daniel (Genese) Harvey, Urbana; nephews, Christopher Harvey, Nicholas Harvey, and Tyler Harvey; niece, Corrine Buuck; friends, Sherri Walters, Tamera “Yogi” Herendeen, and Annie Butcher; and her dog, Butch. Dianna was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Deloris Jean Harvey; and brother, Donald Jay Harvey.
A private celebration of Dianna’s life will be held in the spring at Hanging Rock in Lagro, Indiana.
The family of Dianna June Harvey has entrusted McKee Mortuary with care and final arrangements.
