Dianna "Dodie" Smith

Dianna "Dodie" Smith, 71, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at Hickory Creek @ Scottsburg
Born August 18, 1953 in Scottsburg, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Jerry and Barbara L. (Daniel) Eversole.
Dodie was a cut up and had a great sense of humor. She had a passion for cooking but most of all she loved her family very much. She was also a member of Shelter for the Sheep in Austin.
Survivors include two sons, Ryan Smith and Jeramy Smith of Scottsburg, Indiana, sister, Nancy Wooten of Scottsburg, Indiana, and a brother, Bobby (Joyce) Eversole of Austin, Indiana. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren, Hannah Kaylee, Brenden Lee, and Kennedy Lee.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rondal Smith, a daughter, Rhonda Smith, brother, Danny Eversole and a sister, Ella Sue Resendiz, and a nephew, Chico' Resendiz
Funeral Service: 2:00 pm Monday, October 21, 2024 at Buchanan Funeral Home in Austin, Indiana with Rev. Alex Riley officiating. Cremation will follow the service
Visitation will be 12 to 2 pm Monday at Buchanan Funeral Home.
Burial will be at a later date in Spurgeon Cemetery, Austin, Indiana.
