On July 21, 2025, Oretha "Dianna" Harless Stone of Christiansburg, Virginia, passed away peacefully at age 75, following a long struggle with heart failure.

Dianna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and dog-mom. In addition to these many roles, Dianna was also loved and respected by those closest to her for her role as a devoted caregiver to her mother before her passing in 2021.

Dianna was an animal lover of all kinds, but she especially loved her Yorkie's… Khloe and Zoe. Dianna loved visiting the beach, walking and shelling along the shore. But she equally loved spending time in the mountains where she was born and raised….mowing the yard and sitting on the porch. Dianna enjoyed taking pictures and was always the family's faithful photographer. She was a member of the Spruce Run Church of the Brethren.

Dianna will be most remembered by her family and friends for her selflessness, and her love and devotion to her family. Dianna was preceded in death by her mother and father, Cecil Jr. and Maxine Bradley Harless, and an infant brother.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband Champ Stone, daughter Carla Jordan (Devaughn) step-son Trey Stone, two grandsons, Logan and Gage Jordan, three sisters, Donna Bowman, Cindy H. Laws, Laura Powell (Andy), uncle Dennis Burton (Becky) and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Montgomery County Humane Society.

A graveside service for immediate family will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at the Bradley Cemetery in Lindside, WV 24951 with Dewey Broyles officiating.

Online guestbook can be signed or condolences may be sent to the family at www.broyles-shrewsbury.com. Arrangements by Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home, Peterstown.
