Dianna Jean Van Schoyck, age 83, joined her husband, Billie, at 4:16 p.m. on Monday, September 1, 2025, at Mercy Health - St. Rita's Medical Center with her family by her side.
Dianna was born February 9, 1942, in Lima, OH, to the late Carl and Goldie (Shepherd) Camper. On July 26, 1958, she married the love of her life, Billie Eugene Van Schoyck, who preceded her in death on January 18, 2015.
Dianna worked for several years as a Guest Partner at Mercy Health - St. Rita's Medical Center. Dianna enjoyed cross-stitch, reading, taking care of her plants, and she loved to shop. Her greatest joy was her family; she adored her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Danny J. (Linda) Van Schoyck of Wapakoneta, Christopher E. (William Parkins) Van Schoyck of Beaverdam, Bruce A. (Kimberly) Van Schoyck of Lima, Cathy L. (Gary) Jones of Lima, Cindy J. McClelland of Lima, and Tammy S. (Tim Muss ) Palte of Louisville, KY; 26 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; great-great grandchildren; and her beloved K-9 Maggie.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Pamela Van Schoyck; son-in-law, Orvel McClelland; and brothers, Roger (Charlotte) Camper, and John Camper..
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., at CHILES - LAMAN FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, SHAWNEE CHAPEL.
Services celebrating Dianna's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at the funeral home. Eric M. Swinehart I, will officiate the service. Entombment of cremated remains will be later in the Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the nurses and staff on 7-K at Mercy Health - St. Rita's Medical Center for the loving care their mom received.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Kidney Association.
