AIKEN, SC – Mrs. Dianne Elizabeth Chandler, 69, beloved wife of Rosco Chandler, passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2024.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 30, 2024 at noon at Ocean Grove Baptist Church, 12 Ocean Grove Rd., Aiken, SC 29805. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at 11:00 AM in the church.

Born in Aiken, SC Dianne was the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Alwillie Williams Valentine. Dianne was a true Aikenite, she graduated from Aiken High School in 1973 and remained in Aiken her whole life. Dianne became a member of Ocean Grove Baptist Church. Dianne was saved for 38 years before she was called home to glory. Dianne was a great mother, not only to her children but to her nieces, nephews, and cousins as well. Dianne was a mighty woman of God and a prayer warrior for the Lord. Dianne’s presence will be missed and felt by many. 

In addition to her husband Rosco, Dianne is survived by her 12 children. Her 8 sons: David Valentine, Charleston SC, Phillip Valentine, Aiken SC, Damioun (Syneta) Valentine, North Augusta SC, Roderquize Chandler, North Augusta SC, Timothy Chandler, Aiken SC, Travis Chandler, Aiken SC, Michael Chandler, Aiken SC, Ja’Son Trowell, Aiken SC. Her 4 daughters: Chasity (Kevin Griffin) Chandler, Long Island NY, Kendra Chandler, Bronx NY, Mary Chandler, Aiken SC, Gabrielle (Charles II) Smith, West Ashley, SC. A sister: Janice Reid, Chicago, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Robert Valentine II and Timothy Valentine.
