Dianne LaRenne Christophersen, age 81 of Brady, NE passed away surrounded with her family by her side on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at Hilltop Estates, in Gothenburg, NE.
Dianne was born on May 5, 1944 in Kimball, NE to Willian and Doreen (Imes) Adels. Dianne was united in marriage to Dennis Christophersen on January 1, 1967 and to this union three children were born.
Dianne attended Brady United Methodist Church and was a member for 50 years. Dianne worked multiple jobs over the years with the longest and last being Baldwin Filters in Gothenburg, NE. Dianne had a strong faith and was active in her Church for many years. She loved spending time with her family, kids, grandkids, and great-grand kids. Dianne was the "Mrs. Kravitz" of the neighborhood and always gave a report of what went on in the neighborhood, including who ran the stop sign. She also enjoyed sitting on the porch and visiting with Marilyn and family. She was the rock of our family and will be greatly missed. Her memory will live on with loved ones through all her traditions, sayings and humor.
Dianne is survived by her daughter, Jessica Sprague, son, Art (Salena) Christophersen. Grandchildren, Brittney (Josh) Detty, Jason Wert, William (Jaycee) Christophersen, Madison (Levi) Simmons, Jacob (Bree) Christophersen and Trinity (Logan) Christophersen. Great-grandchildren, Finnegan, Stella, Zellie, Nyssa, Theodore and Kallen, special friends, Sylvia Reeves, Marilyn Ostendorf and Joyce Streeter.
She was proceeded in death by her husband, Dennis, parents Bill and Doreen Adels, son, Timothy Christophersen, brother, Dennis Adels, sister, Kazan Schmidt, son-in-law, Shayne Sprague along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A private service will be held for family, church family and close friends at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Brady United Methodist Church in Brady, NE. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Dianne, please visit our floral store.
