Dianne Insley Obituary

Dianne was born in February 1945, attended Anniston High School and The University of Alabama. She was very active in high school and was loved by many friends.
She modeled for several local stores and later owned a beauty shop, "The Cove". Her career in real estate led to responsible positions in property management before retirement.
Dianne always worked hard, exhibiting much determination in taking care of her family and friends. Her cherished daughter and husband adored her. With her unconditional love for her family and friends, her gentle manner always lifted the spirits of others. She was a wonderful mother and wife.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John B. and Thelma Hill Jennings; and a son, Todd Michael Richardson.
Survivors include her husband, Preston Insley, and a daughter, Shawn and son-in-law, Don Harkrider, of Georgia. She is also survived by three step sons, Alex and David Insley, of Chicago, and Geoff Insley, of Los Angeles.
The funeral service for Mrs. Dianne Jennings Insley, 80, of Anniston, will be at 2 pm on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at K.L. Brown Memory Chapel in Golden Springs with Rev. Tim Schultz officiating. Burial will follow at Forestlawn Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Don Harkrider, Alex Insley, David Insley, Geoff Insley, Gary Welch, Chris Mink, and David Hutto.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105 (www.stjude.org), or the American Lung Association, 55 W. Wacker Drive, Suite 1150, Chicago, IL 60601 (www.lung.org).
