Funeral service for Paul Daniel Dilgard, of Anniston, will be held at 12 P.M on Sunday, July 27, at K.L. Brown Memory Chapel, with Pastor Philip Ford officiating. The family will receive friends for an hour prior to the service. Paul passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 24, 2025. Born in Canton, Ohio, on June 3, 1934, Paul had recently celebrated his 91st birthday.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 57 years, Mary Annette Howard Dilgard, and his four children: Debra Winter (John), Melissa Corbin (Neal), Cortney Dilgard Murrah (Wayne), and Michael Dilgard (Tara). He was a proud grandfather to ten grandchildren: Sarah Winter, Charity Winter-Bailey (Josh), Eric Corbin (Hailey), Hannah Veach (Andrew), Kristen Corbin, Charisma Gurley, Asher Gurley, Kylie Dilgard, Kate Dilgard, and Danny Mack Dilgard.

He also leaves behind three great-grandchildren: Kasey Corbin, Karoline Corbin, and Bradley Corbin.

Paul was preceded in death by son Paul Daniel Dilgard Jr.; his five sisters, Irene Griffin (Wylie), Ruby Kesler (John), Martha Graham (George), Della Morgan (Bill), and infant sister Norma Jean Dilgard; his first wife, Jo Ann Lovin Dilgard (1967); and his parents Floyd and Emma Dilgard.

Paul dedicated more than 40 years to the egg and poultry industry, known for his strong work ethic and unwavering integrity. His tireless efforts were rooted in his deep devotion to

providing for his family.

Paul was a man of quiet but steadfast faith. He lived out his beliefs through daily acts of kindness, humility, and service to others. One of the most cherished traditions in his family was his reading of the Christmas story each year from the Gospel of Luke. With a steady voice and reverent heart, he gathered the family around him, reminding all of the true meaning of Christmas, something his children and grandchildren will never forget.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Paul's memory to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America: https://alzfdn.org.
