Dianne was born on March 30, 1949, in Wisconsin Rapids, WI to Anthony and Janet (Brostowitz) Bushmaker. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1967. Dianne married Thomas G. Marquard on May 24, 1969, at St. Philip's Catholic Church.
Dianne, also known as Lady Di and Granny, cherished spending time with her children and grandchildren creating lasting memories. She loved listening to country music with friends at Jim and Barb Vitorts', where laughter and stories were always shared. Dianne was well known for her famous chocolate chip and peanut butter cookies and her love for baking.
Dianne's green thumb showed in her beautiful flower gardens, and she took pride in canning vegetables each season. Daily coffee with her neighbors was a treasured ritual, as well as having long conversations about soap operas with her cousin, Joanne Klawikowski. Dianne found joy in matching socks, snapping beans at Katie and Darrel's house, hunting for treasures at garage sales, and exploring the aisles of the dollar store.
Dianne is survived by her husband, Thomas Marquard; son, Steve Marquard; daughters, Jenny (Troy) Vetrone, Dena (Kyle Kolka) Marquard, and Katie (Darrel) Christoph; and grandchildren, Jeremy (Jessica) Vetrone, Wyatt, Wade, Evelyn, Eila, Waylon, and Wyzik Christoph.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Janet Bushmaker; In-laws, Edward and Clara Marquard; daughter, Tammy Marquard; grandchildren, Wylie Christoph and Baby Vetrone; brothers, James and Eugene Bushmaker; sisters-in-law, Darlene Wroblewski, Tina Bushmaker, and Elaine Bushmaker; nephews, Nicholas Wroblewski and Mark Bushmaker; and niece, Margaret Bushmaker.
Dianne fought a good battle against multiple health problems for 30 years including cancer twice, open heart surgery, and kidney failure. She would not give up until God said come home to me, you've had enough.
