Dianne McInvale Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Cox Funeral Home - Manchester on Apr. 24, 2025.
Judy Dianne McInvale was born in her beloved home in Warm Springs, GA on January 11th, 1935. She peacefully passed away in that same home on April 21st, 2025.
Dianne was the only daughter of Juliette Bulloch Friddell and Herbert Eugene Friddell. She was the granddaughter of Luncinda "Lula" Bulloch and Oscar C. Bulloch. She is proceeded in death by her parents and grandparents, her eldest son Craig Eugene McInvale, her son-in-law Tommy Guthrie, and her beloved husband Eugene Thomas McInvale, who passed away on April 1, 2025.
Dianne's heart and soul have belonged to Warm Springs for 90 years, and her family's rich history dates back many more years before that. She is the direct descent of the Bulloch brothers, Cyprian and Benjamin, who settled the town of Bullochville incorporated (now Warm Springs) in 1893. The two infamous Bulloch family homes were built in 1892 and 1912 across from The Fish Hatchery. Dianne was born and raised on this property, and she has raised not only her own children and grandchildren in her historic family home, but many cousins, nieces, and nephews as well. Her deep love of Warm Springs history and family ancestry is something she has shared with many family members and friends over the years, and her roots in Warm Springs are forever planted here, sturdy and strong, no matter how much time passes.
Dianne attended Manchester High School followed by Westminster in Atlanta for her senior year. She graduated from Westminster in May 1952. After graduating, she married the love of her life, Gene, on July 13th, 1952. They raised three beautiful children together, Craig, Chet, and Julie, and were married for 72 wonderful and happy years. Dianne was a devoted wife and nurturing mother. She was loved by so many people in her community and exemplified the true meaning of southern class and grace. She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and she made countless memories with them through the years that will be cherished and remembered forever.
Dianne is survived in death by her son Chet McInvale (Kelley), daughter Julie Guthrie (Sean), daughter-in-law Brenda McInvale, grandchildren Seth (Lesley) McInvale, Shea McInvale (Meridith), Satch McInvale, Megan McInvale, Natalie (Bobby) Brent, and English Guthrie (Joe). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
