Dianne Bennett Moore, 75, of the Cannons Campground community of Spartanburg, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, March 12, 2025. Dianne was born on November 17, 1949, in Spartanburg, the daughter of the late Doris McKinney Bennett and Walter Carlisle Bennett. She was married to the late Clarence Lewis Moore.
Dianne was a member of Cannons Camp Ground United Methodist Church. She was an avid sports fan, and in her younger years was known for her superb basketball skills. Dianne was retired from Acosta as a merchandiser.
Surviving are her daughters, Paige Biggs (Brian) and Holly Jolley (Philip), all of Spartanburg; her 5 grandchildren, Haley Petty, Angelica Bowlds (Nick), Hannah Murphy (Levi), Ashley Berry (Josh) and Cole Jolley; 1 great-grandchild, River Berry, and another due in May (Rowan Rhodes Berry); and numerous cousins.
The family will receive friends 12:00-1:30 pm Monday, March 24, 2025, at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 pm, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by the Rev. Philip Jolley, Mr. Cole Jolley, and Ms. Haley Petty.
The family wishes to give special thanks to Betsey Maynard and all the fine Mobile Meal volunteers for their care and support of Dianne.
