Dick Tedeschi

With deep gratitude for a life well-lived, we announce the passing of Richard Robert Tedeschi, lovingly known as Dick, at the age of 81. Dick was a man who truly lit up every room he entered and every life he touched.
Raised in Rockland, Dick was the son of Dominic Tedeschi and Phyllis (Turner) Tedeschi and the stepson of Marie Tedeschi. He was the devoted husband of Patricia (Doherty), his partner in life and love. Together, they built a beautiful family and a lifetime of memories. He was the proud father of Richard and his wife April, James and his wife Tammy, and Susan and her husband Derek. and the adoring grandfather of Autumn, Hunter, Emma, Charlie, Anna, Tyler, and Sophia. His family was his greatest joy, and he celebrated their every success with pride and enthusiasm. He is also survived by his siblings Joan Ransom, Paul Tedeschi, Peter Tedeschi, and Kara Schoenberger.
Dick was a man of many passions-a world traveler, a golfer, a storyteller, a musician, and an avid collector of items and moments. His iPhone was a treasure trove of memories. He had a gift for making everyone feel special, and his warmth and humor left a lasting impression and a smile on all who knew him.
He was a proud graduate of Stonehill College and earned his MBA from Northeastern University. Dick went on to have a distinguished career, serving as the controller for Angelo's Supermarkets, the President of Rockland Federal Credit Union, a 13-year member of the Norwell School committee and the owner of Prime Time Video alongside his beloved wife Pat.
Dick was also deeply involved in his community and cherished his affiliations. He was a senior life member of the Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company of Massachusetts, a member of both the Marshfield Country Club and Stonebridge Country Club of Naples, FL, a member of the Mayflower Society, and the 76 Club of Boston.
Whether attending a concert, out with friends, or simply enjoying a quiet moment with loved ones, Dick embraced life with open arms and an open heart. He was a man of deep character, unwavering loyalty, and boundless love.
Visitation services will be held on Thursday, May 29, between 3-7 pm at Our Lady of the Angels Parish at 329 Hanover St, Hanover, MA (St. Mary's Church).
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 30 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of the Angels Parish at 329 Hanover St, Hanover, MA.
Though he may no longer be with us in person, Dick's legacy lives on in the laughter he shared, the love he gave, and the countless lives he brightened. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
