Dillard Scott Webster, 74, of Canton, died July 30, 2025 at McPherson Health and Rehab, McPherson. He was born August 10, 1951 in Kentucky, the youngest son of Kenneth R. and Laura (Ferguson) Webster. He grew up in Canton with his two brothers, Charles and Floyd, and graduated from Canton High School with the class of 1969. Most of his working career was spent in EMS. He was director of the Canton EMS for a number of years and retired from McPherson County Emergency Management and Communications as their director in 2013, having served in that position since 1999. Dillard was also former editor of the Canton Pilot and owner of the Canton Lockers. Survivors include his son, Jeremy and wife Linda Webster of Park City; his daughter, Jennifer and her husband Adam Komarek of McPherson; five grandchildren, Alyssa, Logan, Mia, Blake and Clara and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his two brothers, Charles and Floyd Webster. At the request of Dillard, there will be no services. Cremation has taken place, and a private family inurnment will take place in Canton Township Cemetery. A memorial has been established with Canton EMS, in care of Olson's Mortuary, Canton.
