Dillon Barr Obituary
Doug was preceded in death by his parents, Dillon Barr (father) and Jewel Barr (mother).
He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, René Barr; his daughter, Lindsey Barr; daughter-in-law, Alexis Barr; sisters, Donna Gresham and Deborah Orr; and his canine best friend, Dozer.
Doug and his wife René have served their community for the past 21 years as owners/operators of the D&R Lounge in Pensacola. In that time they have helped to grant the wishes of over 20 children with chronic and terminal illnesses through the Make-a-Wish foundation. Doug leaves behind a legacy of devotion and service as a loving son, brother, uncle, husband, father and friend. He was fiercely protective of his family and friends, generous enough to give the shirt from his back, and as loyal as they come. He will be sorely missed but never forgotten.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 10th at Trahan Family Funeral Home,
60 Industrial Blvd, Pensacola, FL. 32503 from 2:30 - 4 pm.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations for the Make-a Wish foundation of Central & Northern FL.
