Dinesh Kumar Gupta

Dinesh Kumar Gupta, age 70, of Rockaway Borough, New Jersey, died on Sunday, October 20, 2024 at St. Clare's Hospital in Dover, New Jersey with his family by his side.
Dinesh was born and raised in Delhi, India to the late Om Prakash and Raj Rani Gupta. After completing his schooling, Dinesh married his loving wife in 1981 and supported his family by becoming a skilled accountant. He and his family moved to the United States in 2001 and lived in Manassas, Virginia for twelve years. Eventually, Dinesh settled in Rockaway, New Jersey.
He was a selfless man who always made sure to give to others before himself and cared for others more than himself. One of his greatest joys was spending time with his loved ones, especially the presence of his grandchildren whom he loved dearly.
Those who knew Dinesh will remember him for his kind and loving nature. He was a gem of a person, caring husband, loving father and an amazing grandfather. He was hardworking and dedicated towards his work. His colleagues always vouched for his honesty, integrity, and most of all his dedication.
He is survived by his spouse Varsha Dinesh; two children, Ankur Gupta and Priyanka Kapoor; son-in-law Tushar Kapoor and four cherished grandchildren: Alisha Gupta, Rian Gupta, Neel Kapoor, and Isha Kapoor.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 from 9:00-11:45 AM at Whitham-Kanapaux Funeral Home, 20 Keller Ave., Rockaway, NJ 07866. Interment will be private.
