Gary "Dodd" Black, age 50, of Dallas, Georgia passed away Thursday, January 18, 2024. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Mr. Renard Robinson and Stacy and Gary Luker officiating. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta.
Born in Atlanta, Dodd lived in Cobb County for most of his life before moving to Dallas, GA 15 years ago. He graduated from North Cobb High School in 1992. Afterwards, he worked for AT&T for 18 years. He was an avid Atlanta Falcons fan. Dodd also loved music, gaming, movies, photography, and electronics.
Survivors include: 3 Daughters, Chloe, Macy, and Jillian Black, Dallas, GA; Parents, Peggene and Gary Black, Powder Springs, GA; 2 Sisters, Susan (Scott) Brown, Emerson, GA, and Stacy (Gary) Luker, Kennesaw, GA; Nephew, Jacob Lidh, Dallas, GA; and his beloved cats, Max, Flash and Piper.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dodd Black's memory to the Paulding County Animal Control.
