Dollie Sue Wright, 78 of Mountain Pine, formerly of Hot Springs Village passed away on Saturday August 26, 2025, in Hot Springs.
She was born on March 1st, 1947, to Walter and Nettie Denney Keenom in Mountain Pine. After Dollie married CP, they moved to Dallas, where she worked at Neiman Marcus, Baylor Medical Center and a local Engineering firm. When they relocated to Jessieville, she operated her own business taking care of her customers in Hot Springs Village. They trusted her to care for their homes, loved ones and pets. When the local Walmart opened, she was one of their first employees and took pride in greeting the customers at the front for many years. Everyone enjoyed seeing her smiling face and she developed many friendships with her customers and coworkers.
Dollie is survived by her daughter, Sandy Bailey of Little Rock and two sons, Brian Wright of Mountain Pine and Brady and Lisa Wright of Bismarck. Her grandchildren, Brian and Kristi Jordan. One sister, Mary Cassady and many nieces and nephews. Leonard, Ricky, Nancy and Sarah Joann were spoken of often.
She was preceded by her parents and husband of 45 years, Clifford C.P. Wright. Also, her brothers Roy, Clayton, Junior, Claude and Ted. Her sisters, Corene, Eulean, Ruth and Ruby.
A memorial will be held 3:00pm Friday at Caruth Village. Join the family for a meal after the service at her favorite place to eat, the Home Plate Café.
