Dolores Cornelius Obituary
Warrenville - A celebration of life service for Mrs. Dolores Carlyn Bryant Cornelius age 92 will be held 1:00 pm Saturday September 10, 2022 at Cole Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clint Bartlett officiating. Interment will be held privately at Ft. Jackson National Cemetery, Ft. Jackson, SC. Mrs. Cornelius entered into rest Friday September 2, 2022 at Hitchcock Place, Aiken.
She was the wife of the late Mr. Donald L. Cornelius, Sr. and a daughter of the late Mr. Elmer Bryant and the late Mrs. Maryella Hastings Bryant. Mrs. Cornelius was a native of Boothwyn, PA and had made Aiken County her home for the past 5 years. She was a hospital volunteer in Erie, PA for 25 years and was a member of Levels Baptist Church, Aiken. She loved to travel and was an accomplished seamstress.
Survivors include one son, Donald Leon (Sherry) Cornelius, Jr., Erie, PA; three daughters, Linda Piscitelli, Wilmington, NC, Dona (Steve) Johnson, Aiken, Tracy (Chuck) Ion, Wilmington, NC; thirteen grandchildren and thirty great grandchildren. Mrs. Cornelius was preceded in death by one grandson, Nicholas Piscitelli and one granddaughter, Morgan McClain, two brothers, Elmer Bryant, Jr., Roy Bryant, and eight sisters, Dorothy, Emma, Ella, Winnie, Sarah, Catherine, Anne, and Billie. The family has suggested that donations be made to the DAV, 140 W. 6th Street #101, Erie , PA, 16501 or to Levels Baptist Church, 2456 Levels Church Road, Aiken, SC 29801.
