Dolores Rodriguez Fisher

Dolores Rodriguez Fisher, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away on September 18, 2025 at the age of 91. She was born on July 13, 1934 in New Orleans, La. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 71 years Earl J. Fisher, Jr. her parents, Charles and Juanita Rodriguez, sister Beverly Mclaughlin (Joe) and brother Charles Rodriguez, Jr. She is survived by her loving children, Kenneth Fisher (Vickie), and Candy Ohlsen (Troy); grandchildren, Stephanie Fisher Fabra, Melissa Rogers (Derek), Brittany Marino (Jay), Jake Doran (Gillian), Shelby Brockhoeft (Daniel), Jordan Vinson (Ryan) and great-grandchildren, Emma, Harper, Beau, Beckett, Luca, Brady and Abby. Her sister Marie Blanchard (late Darry Blanchard), brothers, Dennis Rodriguez and Michael Rodriguez (Julie). and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dolores and Earl spent their early years in St. Bernard Parish where she helped and supported him in developing a successful contracting business. She loved playing softball with the ladies' league and won numerous trophies. They then retired to their beautiful land in Poplarville MS, where they spent the remainder of their years together. Dolores' greatest joy in life were her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and we will hold her dear in our hearts forever.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services at 11am on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA with visitation beginning at 10am until service time. Interment will immediately follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
