Dottie passed away January 8, 2024 at Collinwood Memory Care In Brodhead.
Dottie was born March 7, 1929 at St. Marys Hospital in Madison Wi, daughter of Clarence and Marcella Fiedler.
She graduated from Albany High School 1948.
December 18, 1949 she married Roy "Runt" Mauerman. Became a farmers wife in Mt Pleasant Twnshp then in Albany Twnshp where Dottie and Roy raised their 3 daughters. When the girls were older Dottie started working at the Monroe Clinic in the records department and was employed there for 25 years until her retirement. After farming Dottie and Roy moved to Brodhead.
She loved to Dance with Roy and her brother Billy. They once danced on Dairyland Jubelee WKOW 27. Bowled couples league with Roy and on the Wednesday Night Ladies league in Albany with her daughter Karen. A fan of the Wisconsin Badgers (seasons ticket holder) and also a fan of the Green Bay Packers. She enjoyed sitting around a campfire and enjoyed the stories everyone told.
She is survived by her daughter Karen (Dave) Naatz of Evansville, Grandsons Timothy (Rorie Condon) Huffman of Brodhead, Cody (Lauren Fuller) Hulbert of St. Peter, Mn, Jacob (Alyssa) Hulbert of Milwaukee, Wi, Granddaughter Jennifer(James Smith) Guilbault of New Berlin, Wi. Great Granddaughter Makayla Guilbault. Son-in-laws Keith (Kimberly) Hulbert of Dodgeville Wi and John (Rebecca) Huffman of Brodhead. Step Grandsons Lucas (Oxana) Naatz of Antioch, Tn and Matthew (Cori) Naatz of Evansville, Wi. Step Great Grandchildren Zander and Zoey Naatz.
Preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Marcella, husband Roy, daughters Janet Huffman and Julie Hulbert, brother William "Billy" Fiedler.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to family in Dottie's memory.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Agrace Hospice Care and the staff at Collinwood Memory Care in Brodhead for the care and love they gave to Dottie.
A visitation will be held at the DL Newcomer Funeral Home in Brodhead on Monday, January 15, 2024 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM.
