Dolores Lillian "Dolly" Molnar

MOLNAR, Dolores Lillian, 86, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 in Shelby Township.
Dolores 'Dolly', the most loving and devoted wife, mother, aunt, and friend, is survived her husband Charles Robert 'Bob', daughters Valerie and Gail, dearest friend Rose Ann (Lee), and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents Sofus and Martel Winther, cherished brothers Constance (Lois) Munch and Beatty (Patricia) Winther, and niece Ellen (Munch) Hatcher.
Dolores met the love of her life, Bob, while on vacation with her girlfriends in Grand Bend, Canada. There was only a small, single mirror in the room Dolores and friends were staying in, so Dolores went to knock on the room adjacent to hers to ask if she could use their mirror. A handsome young man, Bob, graciously accommodated. That chance encounter led to the start of what would become over 63 wonderful, loving years together!
Dolores was a wonderful, kind, generous person full of love for everyone. She was always positive, happy, smiling, and loved celebrating birthdays and holidays with family and friends. As Dolores often said, the secret to enjoying life is to "Eat dessert first!" She is forever cherished, fondly remembered, and deeply missed.
A Celebration of Life luncheon will be held at later date for family and friends.
