DOLORES ANTOINETTE RAY, 96, of Louisville passed on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at the Springs at Stony Brook. Born in Louisville she was the former Dolores Breit. She retired from AT&T/Bell South after 38 years. Dolores was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, the Telephone Pioneers, and the 50/50 Senior Club at Holy Family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Aloysius Ray JR, her daughters Mary Anna Stafford and Donna Marie Estep, infant son Delbert III; Parents Albert and Anna Breit; Brothers Leonard, Jerome, and Sylvester "Sharkey" Breit; her sisters Alberta Scherer and Elsie Offut.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons Kevin Joseph Ray (Kelly) and Michael Jude Ray (Sugar); Grandchildren Tracy, Douglas, Michelle, Payton, Presli, Kaleigh, Jennifer, and Kevin M; 12 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and great friends.
Her infectious laughter, beautiful smile, and kind soul will be forever missed.
Visitation will be from 2-8 pm on Monday, April 22 at Ratterman and Sons Funeral Home 3800 Bardstown Rd. Her Funeral Mass will be 10 am on Tuesday, April 23, at Holy Family Catholic Church 3938 Poplar Level Road. With burial to follow at St. Michael Cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Priests of the Sacred Heart, PO Box 900, Hales Corners, WI 53130, Attn Planned Giving.

I didn't know her real well but we met at Jtown bingo on Sundays. We became friends as with Ronnie,Ducky,and Cindy.I visit her twice at the nursing home but each time she was sleeping.Ronnie said I should of woke her up,but mom was in a nursing home I know sleep is important. Ronnie kept me up to date on her.She was dear to my . Rest in peace my friend till me meet again. Gale your bingo buddy

So sorry to read this about Dolores(Doty) I know her from working with her at the Telephone Company! She was a Wonderful person. We used to go to Bingo! May she RIP. God Bless Her!!
