Dolores Tully

Dolores M. "Dody" Tully, 93, of Erie, PA passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2023.
She was born in Chester, PA on September 26, 1929, a daughter of the late Carl John and Mary Magdalen (Doyle) Dann.
Dody was a telephone operator at Hamot for many years, and was an active member at St. Andrew Church. She was a past president of the Ladies Guild, volunteer teacher for RCIA, Eucharistic minister, and volunteer with the food pantry. She was also an Associate of the Sisters of Mercy and part of the Catholic Daughters of America. Dody loved traveling, cooking, gardening, and animals. After moving to Mercy Terrace, she organized a group called Bible Buddies and loved attending mass with the Sisters. She was an extremely generous person, always helping those in need. Dody supported several different organizations and helped many friends over the years. She was a true angel on earth.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lionel S. Tully who passed away on September 26, 2012.
She is survived by several cousins and her dear friends, Sister Mary Felice Duska, RSM, Sister Carol Ann Voltz, RSM, Ann and Ken Adams, and Katherine and James Fatter, as well as her Sisters of Mercy and Mercy Terrace Community.
