Mrs. Dolores Ann Yaich, 72, of Charlotte, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2022. "Dolly" was born March 24, 1950 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Bernadine Slaminko.
Mrs. Yaich is survived by her husband of 52 years, Terry Lynn Yaich, and their children, Jeffrey Douglas Yaich and Sandra Rose Snyder, both of Charlotte, as well as her three brothers, Steven H. Slaminko of White Heath, Illinois, Paul Slaminko of Hilliard, Ohio, and Ronald Slaminko of Everson, Washington.
Dolly graduated from Temple University with a bachelor's degree in accounting and obtained her CPA. Ultimately, she was a homemaker. She was an avid reader of mysteries and romance novels and thoroughly enjoyed crafting, mainly scrapbooking, rubber stamping, and card making. She was also a member of several book clubs and the Charlotte Newcomers Club.
There will be no funeral service or visitation by her request. The family will notify loved ones when a virtual memorial service is scheduled.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Levine & Dickson Hospice House, Huntersville. The family would like to express our thanks to the wonderful help and care given by the staff there in her last 2½ months of life.
