Dominique was reared from an early age in Pleasant Grove, tagging along with his PaPa Fleming and great uncles and friends. As everyone knew, he was spoiled rotten and never heard the words "no". Dominique spent later years in Mebane and Green Level, always within reach of special family and friends.
Dominique was a 2008 graduate of Eastern Alamance High School. He was an employee of UPS and also worked in landscaping and construction. Dominique lived life unapologetically and to the fullest, embracing every moment with laughter and joy. Known for his humor, Dominique could always be found cracking jokes, singing his favorite songs, or doing anything to make those around him smile.
Dominique certainly treasured his family and friends, creating lasting memories filled with love and laughter. His presence will be deeply missed but forever cherished in the hearts of those who knew him- especially his mother, to whom he loved dearly and spoke his final words: "Ma, I Love You".
Dominique is survived by his devoted mother, Meredith J. Daye; father, Barry "Teeny Baby" Leath; twin sisters, Aliyah Bryant and Akiyah Bryant Dickey (Marquis); half-siblings, Martia Wiley and Jonas Leath; twin nieces whom he loved and adored, Ava and Avery Dickey; grandmother, Mary "Bitt" Daye; uncle, Kyle Daye (Devonia); and aunts, Sheridan "Cindy" Daye, Vivian "Leanne" Daye, and Andrea "Horse" Daye. Dominique is also remembered fondly by a host of great-aunts and uncles, cousins, friends, godmother Valerie Riddick, and a special like-mom, Tamara Harrelson Long.
Dominique now joins his beloved grandparents, Fleming Parker and Patricia Leath; uncles, Brevitt Daye, Kevin "Boonka" Daye, and Tracey Parker in eternal peace.
