A native of Alamance County, she was born on July 3, 1986, to the late Bobby and Emma Vanhook. From an early age, Chandra had a passion for reading and writing-interests she carried with her throughout her life.
Although her time with us was brief, she touched many lives with her kindness and love. Above all, she adored her son, Dominic Prince, who was the joy of her life. She leaves behind Dominic and his father, Donald Prince, to carry on her legacy.
She is also survived by her brother, Christopher Vanhook (Thyda); her sister, Kathy Tyler (Basim); nieces and nephews, Giana and Bryce Tyler, and Lennox and Olivia Vanhook; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and an extended family who loved her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bobby and Emma Vanhook.
Chandra will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her loving spirit, gentle heart, and the joy she brought to all who knew her. There will no formal services. The family asks for your prayers and that you would remember and celebrate her life in a way that would honor and keep her memory alive.
