Walter VanHook passed away peacefully on June 21st at the age of 77. He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas VanHook and Elsie Gilcrease, as well as eight siblings. Left to cherish his memory are his daughters Michelle, Kim and Paula, four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Walter had a long and successful career in the manufactured housing industry. His work took him all over the country and also to South America and Mexico, where he enjoyed working for the last 20 years of his career.
He enjoyed golfing, fishing and had a lifelong love of music. He was happy to be back in his hometown and closer to family in retirement.
