Judy Lynne Vanhook, 65, of Eubank, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at her residence.
She was born on October 16, 1960 to the late Ottis & Sarah (Brewer) Vanhook in Somerset, Kentucky. Judy was a true homebody who found comfort and joy in the simple blessings of life. Her faith in the Lord was an important part of who she was and guided her with quiet strength throughout her life. She cherished time spent at home and held her family close to her heart.
Judy is survived by her husband of 29 years, Doug Leach; her loving children, D.J. Leach and his wife, Paige, and Donna Leach; her precious grandchildren, Scarlett Leach and EJ Griffin; her beloved dog, Sassy, whom she often referred to as her third child; and her niece, Casey Vanhook, all of whom she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her two brothers, Bud Vanhook, her beloved twin brother, and Steven Grant.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, January 16, 2026 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Donald Ashley officiating.
Burial will be at Old Sardis Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until time for services.
