Mr. Don L. Swartz, Jr. age 65, of College Grove, Tennessee, died Sunday, March 23, 2025 at his home in College Grove after an extended illness. Mr. Swartz was born in Louisville, Kentucky and was a son of the late Judith Cecil Hall Swartz and Donald Louis Swartz, Sr. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, David Richard Swartz, a son, Nathan Jackson, and grandson, Anderson Grey Swartz.
Don was a BMI publisher and worked his whole life in music production and as a booking agent.
Mr. Swartz is survived by his wife of 34 years, Sheila Rollins Swartz, College Grove, TN; children, Jessica Nicole (Bobby) Sieber, Indianapolis, IN, Stephanie Marie (Josh) Spalding, Louisville, KY; step-children, Jennifer Lorin (David) York, Cookeville, TN, William Brandon (Stacey) Jackson, Columbia, TN, Tanya Jackson, Goldsboro, NC; sisters, Deborah Lynn (Ronnie) Miller, Louisville, KY, Judith Diane Clark, Louisville, Ky, Jennifer Marie (Jack) Stallard, Louisville, Ky; brother, Dennis Kirk (Judy Kaye) Swartz, Louisville, KY; grandchildren, Ryan Jackson, Rhiannon Jackson, Will Jackson, Lauren York, Cooper Jackson, Greyson Spalding, Trey Williams.
Family members will receive friends on Sunday, March 30, 2025 from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Graveside services will be conducted on Monday, March 31, 2025 at 11:00 am at College Grove Cemetery in College Grove, TN.
Dennis Swartz, Kyle Swartz, Jack Stallard, Ronnie Miller, Josh Spalding, Bobby Sieber, David York, Brandon Jackson, Will Jackson, Cooper Jackson and Ryan Jackson will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Memorial donations may be made to help with funeral expenses to Sheila Swartz or directly to Lawrence Funeral Home, P. O. box 8, Chapel Hill, TN 37034.
