Linda Fay Martin Obituary
Mrs. Linda Fay Martin, age 76, of the Flat Creek Community in Williamson County, TN, passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was a native of Maury County, TN and a daughter of the late Daniel Archie Clark and Gracie Margaret Bolton Clark. Mrs. Martin was retired from working as a hairdresser. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Wayne Kenneth “Bob” Martin, brothers, J. W. Clark, Jesse Clark, Ray Clark, Larry “Shorty” Clark, Dan Clark, Harold Dean Clark, brother in law, Farris Martin, and a son in law, Joe Young.
Mrs. Linda was a most loving person, giving, never met a stranger, she was selfless and loving. She was so full of compassion, resilient, funny, and always happy. She loved to cook for her family and gatherings. She was well known for making people feel just like family. Most of all, she loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them and being involved with them.
Mrs. Martin is survived by her children, Tony (Ellen) Martin of Chapel Hill, TN, Donna Young of Chapel Hill, TN, Karen Lamb of Columbia, TN, Brian (Julie) Martin of Columbia, TN, Daniale (James) Blunkall of Bradenton, FL; sisters, Sandra Alexander of Bradenton, FL, Elizabeth Ford of Franklin, TN, Peggy Martin of Franklin, TN; brother, Cecil Clark of Franklin, TN; grandchildren, Keith (Molly) Martin, Justin (Kasey) Martin, Ben (Sara Kay) Young, Presley Blunkall, Daniel Lamb (Abbie Bowker), Amelia Blunkall, honorary grandchild, Buck Lamb; great grandchildren, Waylon Martin, Riley Young, Jax Martin, Camryn Jo Martin; sisters in law, Vera Tyner of Bolivar, TN, Sue Kelley of Lansing, MI.
Visitation with the family will be from 4 PM – 8 PM on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at Lawrence Funeral Home and 12 Noon until 1 PM on Friday. The funeral service will be conducted at 1 PM on Friday, July 25, 2025 from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Keith Martin and Joel Hasenwinkel officiating. Interment will follow at Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill, TN.
Tony Martin, Brian Martin, Daniel Lamb, Justin Martin, Keith Martin, Ben Young, George Lamb, Jeff Pardue, James Blunkall, and Steve Ford will serve as pallbearers.
