I remember when I was growing up in Magna, Utah Don,Audie, Hank, George, Gail and the rest of the family would come to our home and they would play music and sing. George, Gail and all of them harmonizing had the most beautiful voices. I loved listening to them sing. I love you dearly Don and you are going to be greatly missed.

My Dad could listen to a song one time and play he was the most talented fun loving person I have ever met. My dad was my world and I was fortunate enough to have him teach me a lot on keyboard and guitar and singing my dad would let me know if I was off key one little bit and would sing it till it was perfect my dad had a heart of gold and will be greatly missed forever it will be hard to move forward without him I love you daddy! Theres not enough words to explain how great of a person my daddy was!

Me and Don shared the Band Stand for a lot of years. I played Steel Guitar but had a love for the Piano. Me and Don could read each other´s minds on stage. He knew what I was going to play before I played it. I also knew what he was going to do before he played. That is why we were so good at making the song better than what it would have been. I still think of ways he might play on a song and use that as inspiration to play it better. His talent was beyond description and the depths were only known to those fortunate enough to work with him. I seldom talked to others about the Genius of his abilities because it was something that could not be explained by words. His creative expression on the keyboard was something you had to hear to feel. I shall miss my partner in what was some of the best creative processes until we again sit down together and play music again. Adieu my friend.
