She was previously married to US Army Maj Paul Vincent Dougherty, also deceased.
She is survived by her children Paul Bernard Dougherty (wife Deborah and daughter Charlotte ) of Magnolia, TX. Matthew Garth Dougherty of Oracle, AZ, Roger Brett Dougherty (sons Jesus and Vincent and daughter Valeria) of New Braunfels, TX, Andrew Dougherty (wife Mandy Mikulencak) of Durango, CO, Banner Cole Dougherty (wife Amanda) of Oracle, AZ, Stephen Travis Dougherty (wife Galiya Karimova) of Houston, TX and Cynthia Camm Dougherty of Corpus Christi, TX.
She loved the red rocks of the desert southwest and her time working at Bandelier National Monument in New Mexico. It was a dream job in a dream location. Although her favorite job may have been dealing poker in a casino outside Santa Fe, NM. She will be missed.
