DONALD ADAMS Obituary

DONALD HOWARD ADAMS Donald Howard Adams, 82, of Independence, Mo., passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2024, at Centerpoint Medical Center. Services will be held on Saturday, June 22 with visitation from 1 - 2 p.m. at Royer Funeral Home in Oak Grove, Mo., followed by graveside at 2:30 p.m. in Oak Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Donald was born July 8, 1941, in Kansas City, Mo., the son of Woodrow and Edna (Snyder) Adams. He was a proud Marine veteran, a truck mechanic for ABF Freight, a member of the Teamsters, and a custodian for Blue Springs South High School. He enjoyed watching westerns, helping other people and being outside doing yardwork. Donald is survived by his wife, Patricia Adams of the home; four children: Leann Adams, Joan Adams, Donald Adams (Vickie), and Jennifer Kariker (Tim), all of Independence; three grandchildren: Michelle, Layla, and Katelyn; and several siblings. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Billy Adams. Arrangements: Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove, 816-690-4441.
