Donald Boyan Obituary Donald A. "Buck" Boyan, 81, of Carnegie, formerly Canonsburg, died Wednesday, December 4, 2024, in Bridgeville Rehab and Care Center.
He was born November 7, 1943, in Canonsburg, a son of the late Steven and Evelyn Popich Boyan.
Mr. Boyan was employed by McGraw-Edison and also owned and operated the Boyan Amoco in Canonsburg for many years.
Buck was a member of the Russian Club and the VFW Post 191 both in Canonsburg.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, polka dancing and most important was the time he spent with his grandchildren.
Surviving are four sons, Donald Boyan of Eighty Four, Kevin Boyan (Shannon) of Clinton, Michael Boyan of Canonsburg and Stephen Boyen (Jen) of Millvale; four grandchildren, Morgan Dierdorf (Dan), and Channas, Hunter and Ashleigh Boyan; a great grandson, Brayson Boyan; a brother, Ronald; two sisters, Evelyn and Geraldine; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased in addition to his parents, are two brothers, James and Steven.
A memorial service to celebrate Donalds life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, December 22, 2024 at the VFW Post 191 in Canonsburg.
