Donald Walter Case

CASE, Donald Walter - Age 86, of Fenton, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2025. Funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, December 20, 2025 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton (The service will be live streamed and can be viewed below Donald's obituary). Pastor Brad Foster officiating. Interment will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Saturday from 1:00 PM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association or Adopt-A-Pet.

Donald was born October 3, 1939 in Howell, the son of Walter Franklin and Dorothy Marie (LaChance) Case. He was a 1957 graduate of Hartland High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp from 1958-1961. He married Patricia Ann Noll May 5, 1967 and she preceded him in death October 13, 2025. Donald had resided in Fenton since 1997 coming from Milford. He retired in 1989 from GM AC Rochester; then went to work for American Aggregates in Highland and he retired again in 2003. He was a member of the Huron Valley Rodder's. He enjoyed drag racing, dune bugging, restoring and working on cars and trucks. He also was a knowledgeable handyman.

Surviving are: his daughters, Susan Case of Hartland and Barbara Case of Detroit; sister, Barbara Lafata of Wyoming, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Dorothy Case. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
