Donald Daniels Obituary

Born July 16, 1940, he was a very successful businessman who took pride in all of his work and travels. His greatest pride, however, was his family.
Known in his family as "deda", he is survived by his three children Brian Daniels, Karen Bisig (Ken) and Laura Lindsey (Kevin); brother Kenneth B. Daniels; sister Gloria Gostomski; six grandchildren; and one great grandson.
Don was preceded in death by his high school sweetheart and loving wife Martha Daniels. They were married for 54 years when she passed away in May of 2016. He visited her daily since his move back to Louisville in 2017, and his family takes comfort in knowing he is now reunited with her in heaven.
Visitation will be Sunday, May 7th from 4-7pm at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. A Prayer Service will be 11am Monday at the Funeral Home with burial to follow at Cave Hill Cemetery.

Heaven got a good one on May 3rd, our sweet dad! My parents were and will forever be my role models. They taught the lessons in life that I hope we continue to pass on to our kids. My dad was such a lovable husband, father and friend. I wish I could have glimpsed into heaven the moment he saw my mom. We will miss you dad! I love you forever and always!
