Donald Lee Delaney of Thomasville passed away on Sunday July 13, 2025. Born on January 24, 1933 in Thomasville, he was the son of the late Sylvester Delaney and Arthine Livingston Delaney. Mr. Delaney was a US Army Veteran and an active member of First Baptist Church. He worked at South Georgia Natural Gas, J.C. Penny, Delaney's Studio, Delaney' Fast Photo, before retiring from TRN/Textron. Survivors include his sons Ron Lee Delaney and wife Candy. Anthony Kyle Delaney and wife Tisa: grandchildren Kimberly Lewis (Jay), Eric Delaney (Kala), Raquel Tewksbury (Ryan), Ryan Delaney, Ricky Delaney; great grandchildren Caden, Layton, Braden, and Thomas; numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, step-mother Linus Delaney, brothers Mickey Delaney, Howard Delaney, Jack Delaney, Gerald Delaney. A memorial service to honor his memory will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday August 9, 2025 in the chapel of Allen & Allen Funeral Home.
