Donald “Don” Wayne Weston, age 81 of Williamsport, IN, won his battle with cancer and went to be with the Lord at 1:26 p.m. on Thursday, July 4, 2024 surrounded by his loving family.
Don was born on December 18, 1942 in Danville, IL. He was the son of Everett Ivan and Adeline “Addie” (Jones) Weston. Don was a 1961 graduate of Seeger High School. He was a life-long resident of Warren County. Don married Jackie Hutchison on November 1, 1963 in West Lebanon, IN and she survives.
Don was a lifetime farmer and worked at the West Lebanon Fertilizer Company until his retirement in 2017.
Don was a member of the West Lebanon Christian Church. He was previously a member of the F&AM Jordan West Lebanon Lodges and later a 50 year member of the F&AM Pine Village Lodge. He loved horses. Don was a Purdue sports fan and especially enjoyed following his granddaughters sports.
Surviving with his wife, Jackie, are:
2 children, Jeffery Weston of Atlanta, GA and Nikki (Mike) Swisher of Williamsport, IN;
2 grandchildren, Kelcey (Aaron) Briles and Kiley Swisher;
2 great-grandsons, Oaklyn Briles and one on the way, Remington Briles;
Sister-in-laws, Carolyn Weston and Sue Weston;
Brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Terry and Loucinda Zachery;
Several nieces and nephews
Don was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Larry Weston and Tom Weston; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Dale and Jeanene White; and brother-in-law Bob Hutchison.
The Weston family would like to express a special thank you to the nurses and staff at Heart to Heart Hospice for their kind and compassionate care.
Visitation will be held at the West Lebanon Christian Church, 201 S Clinton St, West Lebanon, IN on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with masonic services at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service to follow with Minister Bruce Thornsbrough officiating. Burial will be at the West Lebanon Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to West Lebanon Christian Church.
